Application Instructions:
To ensure the security of personal information submitted as part of the SDC Leadership application, all applicants are required to register for a password protected account. Information collected will not be distributed by SDC for any reason other than human resources operations, and program-related operations and logistics.
Step 1 - Register for an account. Click on the blue Register button on the right hand side in the task bar above.
Step 2 - Verify your email address. After you've registered, check your email inbox. Click on the button at the bottom of the verification email. After a series of clicks return to the application portal.
Step 3 - Begin your application. Click the blue APPLY button and select SDC Employment Application.
SDC Programs and Leadership Qualifications:
Student Diplomacy Corps International + Field Based Programs: 3-5 week immersion programs abroad (and in Alaska, USA) using experiential learning to build confidence and college readiness. Some SDC international programs include the opportunity for students to earn college credit.
Qualifications: Undergraduate degree, language/cultural skills in SDC program countries, travel experience, experience working with youth.
Student Diplomacy Experimental College (SDXCO): 4-week college campus-based, credit-bearing programs designed to introduce high school students to college life and the liberal arts.
Qualifications: At least 3 years of undergraduate study completed, excellent academic record, and interest in developing college readiness in high school students. Experience working as an RA and/or in a mentoring role and experience in campus leadership roles are preferred.
Application Deadlines and Other Information:
• The SDC Program Leadership application opens December 1st of each year for programs taking place in July of each year.
• SDC Program Leadership interviews take place on a rolling basis beginning January 1st.
• After May 1st - please email corpsleadership@sdcorps.org to inquire about remaining openings.
