Application Instructions:
To ensure the security of personal information submitted as part of the SDC Leadership application process all applicants are required to register for a password protected account. Information collected will not be distributed by SDC for any reason other than Human Resources operations, and program related operations and logistics.
Step 1 - Register for an account. Click on the blue Register button above.
Step 2 - Verify your email address. After you've registered, check your email inbox. Click on the button at the bottom of the verification email and after a series of clicks return to the application portal.
Step 3 - Begin your application. Click the blue APPLY button.
SDC Programs and Leadership Qualifications:
Student Diplomacy Corps International: 3-5 week immersion programs abroad focused on experiential learning and building confidence and college readiness. Some SDC international programs include the opportunity for students to earn college credit.
Qualifications: Undergraduate Degree, Language/Cultural skills in SDC program countries, travel experience, experience working with youth.
Student Diplomacy Experimental College (SDXCO): 4-week US college campus-based, credit-bearing programs designed to introduce high school students to college life and the liberal arts.
Qualifications: At least 3 years of undergraduate study completed, excellent academic record and interest in liberal arts topics. Experience working as an RA and with campus clubs is preferred.
Application Deadlines and Other Information:
• The SDC Program Leadership Application Opens December 1st of each year for programs taking place in July of each year
• SDC Program Leadership interviews take place on a rolling basis beginning January 1st - Apply early for the best chance of SDC finding a position to fit your skillset!
• For Applications submitted after May 1st of each year - please email us at corpsleadership@sdcorps.org to inquire about any remaining openings.
